If you have a Samsung phone, you may have noticed ads appearing on your lock screen, in your notifications, and within some of the pre-installed apps.
Fortunately, you don’t have to put up with them. This is how you can disable ads on your Samsung Galaxy once and for all.
How to remove ads from Samsung system
Samsung’s One UI is one of the best Android skins out there, but it’s hard to recommend it at times given that some Galaxy phones, especially the cheaper ones, get regular announcements about new Samsung products and deals.
If you want to get rid of Samsung system ads, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Applicationssearch and select Samsung push service. Tap notifications and deactivate show notifications.
- Go to Settings > Lock screen > Wallpaper servicesthen select None and deactivate Swipe left for information page.
- Go to Settings > Home screen > Add media page to home screen and select discover google or disable the option entirely.
How to stop receiving news and offers on Samsung
When setting up your Samsung phone, one of the first things you should do is create a Samsung account, as it helps locate your device if it goes missing. Unfortunately, doing so can also make you more likely to receive ads. Follow these steps to stop them:
- Go to settings and tap the Samsung account menu.
- Tap profile informationscroll down, turn off Get news and special offersand touch Stop.
How to stop receiving personalized ads on Samsung
Samsung offers a Personalization Service that suggests personalized content to you based on your location, usage, interests, and application activity. But if you don’t find it useful, you should turn it off. Follow these steps to disable Personalization Service on Samsung:
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Personalization service.
- Tap Delete your data > Deleteuse your fingerprint or enter your Samsung account password for verification.
- Tap Stop customizing all devices > Stop all customization > Off.

Remove ads on your Samsung phone
